Homeowner trends include remodeling for simpler living and low maintenance. Remodeling for safety, healthier and more sustainable ways.

More kitchen cabinets are being installed that have clean simple lines with a contemporary look.

Countertops are trending to granite and quartz, as well as quartz composite. Composites provide a low maintenance, durable material.

We find that many of our clients are preferring pre-finished and engineered wood flooring. Pre finished woods offer a durable finish and less installation time and do not require sanding.

Preference in kitchen sinks varies considerably; we still install more double bowl sinks than single bowl, but the nation-wide trend is currently toward large single bowl kitchen sinks.

There is a growing trend toward remodeling bathrooms for aging in place. Both kitchen and bath upgrades can include fixtures and designs that enhance accessibility for impaired persons.

Led lighting is being installed more frequently in our kitchen remodels, such as under-counter lighting.
