It’s the details that make the home
One detail is the kitchen faucet. You could have a professionally remodeled kitchen, with all new appliances, but if the faucet leaks or isn’t tall enough to fit your large pot under, it can be just downright annoying, taking the glimmer off your beautiful kitchen.
Perhaps the faucet just doesn’t have the right features for the way you use it; or it could be the style doesn’t fit with the rest of the kitchen. Could it be the wrong finish?
In any case, here are some ideas on how to either avoid selecting the wrong faucet, or picking the perfect faucet for you, to replace that annoying one!
- Pre-rinse style faucets; these are similar to the type professional kitchens use, they tend to be tall, with a flexible spout for spraying dirty pots and plates.
- Many prefer single-lever faucets, allowing you to adjust the temperature and flow with one hand, while holding an item to be cleaned with the other hand.
- A separate spray nozzle can be a feature with some kitchen faucets.
- The most common kitchen faucet finish in chrome, but if that isn’t your preference, faucets can be found in oil rubbed bronze, white, brushed chrome, even matte black! If you like to stray out of the crowd, Kohler has faucets that come in 14 different finishes!
Be sure your faucet fits the sink you have selected (same number of holes and distances between holes).
