Clutter-free kitchens

Do you have a “thing” about clutter? You don’t have to be OCD to appreciate a pristine countertop. Whether your kitchen is large or small, that countertop clutter can sneak up on you.

Small appliances are one of the culprits; ask yourself how often do you use that item? If infrequently, store it in a cabinet that is not opened often. Corner cabinets, and the topmost upper cabinets are good places to put such items. Even the garage, for seasonal items, such as canning equipment.

If you have removed all that can be realistically given a new home, and there isn’t anything you could do without, then it is time to think about having your favorite contractor re-do or even completely remodel those kitchen cabinets.
