Updating your home in 2020

Well, it will be 2021 before you can snap your fingers, but it’s never too late to update your home. A popular remodel is removing old flooring and having wood, bamboo or a wood look-alike installed.

Flooring takes a beating, and after many years, it can have an outdated color or pattern, plus damage from use.

Be sure to hire a reputable contractor to do the work, as you don’t know what is under the surface until the old flooring is pulled out. Some older homes may not have a smooth surface to work with, and an expert is a good idea, as they will know how to fix it.
