Home additions to make your house more enjoyable

If  you need more space in your home, consider an addition, rather than searching for a larger home. For many homeowners, it is a smart investment that increases livable square footage while boosting a home’s value.

Additions can be large, such as building on second additions or two story spaces, but they don’t need to be. From bump outs to micro additions, there are plenty of smaller ways that will greatly impact your homes comfort while optimizing your floor plan.

We have had some interesting and unusual addition requests; one involved taking two tiny homes and connecting them with an addition. Their floor levels were slightly different, so a couple of stairs were required to make the connection.

Another involved taking a second floor deck and turning it into a sun room.
