Updating a neglected basement

If you are lucky enough to have a basement on your home, don’t leave that space as a place to toss junk! That square footage is a game room, office space, guest bedroom, exercise room, or many other possibilities.

We have upgraded Bellingham area home basements to include all the above, plus a new bathroom, and who couldn’t use another bathroom? Especially if you are using the basement, it is so much easier to have one close to hand.

Sometimes basements have special issues, such as water damage when we have one of our soaker-winters. A sump pump provides the solution, plus sealer added to the below-grade walls, or even foundation drainage piping around where the basement.
