Upgrade your home with new flooring
Many older homes have wall to wall carpet, which cannot be replaced without a professional; so it usually remains in place way too long. There comes a time when shampooing the rug doesn’t really seem to make much difference.
When that day comes, or even if you just don’t like the carpeting, then have it pulled out and replaced with the flooring of your choice. Wood flooring is popular, as it feels warm to the touch as well as visually it just feels warm and comforting.
If real wood is too expensive or requires more maintenance that you’d care for, there are plenty of wood look-alikes that are less expensive and look great.
Be sure to check with your contractor as to which rooms of the home would benefit from the flooring of your choice. Bathrooms deal with a lot of water/ moisture, so the flooring should be water proof or at least water resistant.
Kitchens are subject to things getting dropped from time to time, so flooring that is less likely to break whatever falls on it, is desirable.
We can help you with decisions on what flooring will suit your lifestyle and each room in the home.
