What about outdoor kitchens?
If the summer feels like it’s passing you by, and you still don’t have an outdoor kitchen, then you need to start planning and budgeting for it. After visiting with friends and family who have outdoor cooking and seating areas, you long for something similar for your own home.
It’s a good idea to plan ahead, and determine a realistic timeframe to have it ready for next summer, or sooner, if possible! A roof covering the cooking and seating area will make it useable nearly every day of the year. Add radiant heaters for cold days and you are ready for outdoor gatherings.
A well designed outdoor kitchen works together with its indoor counterpart when cooking or entertaining guests, and compliments a home’s architecture and landscaping. Outdoor kitchen appliances and materials should be durable, designed for outdoor installation.
Think about the size of your deck or patio and whether it will accommodate an outdoor kitchen with seating area for guests. Pergolas can be built in the yard, with power, water and waste lines routed to them, if that works better for your home.
We have built everything from a deck with a portable barbecue, to complete outdoor kitchens with fireplace, undercounter refrigerators and gas ovens and cooktops.
