Basement remodel ideas
Many homes have an unfinished or partially finished basement that ends up just being a messy storehouse for household and sports items not in use.
But you paid for that space when you bought the house – why not make full use of it? It can be turned into anything from a kids play area to a home gym.
Adding a window for natural light is a desirable change. It’s amazing how much more desirable a room feels when sunlight can make its way there. If the basement is too far below ground level, a window well can be
made to allow wall space for a window, and if the room is to be a bedroom, it can be configured for an access window (code requirement for bedroom
s).
