Bedroom closet too small?

Many homes have pretty small closets, makes one wonder what the designers were thinking. If you are craving a larger closet, it can be done.

There are several ways to make that closet bigger; one is to take over the closet next to it. Yes, there is often another closet on the other side of the wall that backs up against your closet. Does that room really need a closet? If not, your contractor can take that space over to double the size of your closet.

Another method is to just take over the room next to the bedroom, by removing the wall, and building a walk in closet. This is a popular option for those whose children are grown and out on their own.
