Can you be happy with a small-to-medium size kitchen?
Of course you can! It’s all about how the cabinets and appliances are laid out. Just remember that a truly small kitchen should realistically have small stove, refrigerator and dishwasher. There is a limit to what the square footage can accommodate.
Cleverly laid out cabinets and a willingness to reduce the number of small appliances (or select small sized appliances) such as mixers, toasters, coffeemakers, air fryers (etc) will provide the optimum working countertop space and eliminate any appliances you rarely use!
Next thing to consider is the floor material, sink size and countertop selection. The larger size tiles or wood flooring trick the eye and make the space feel bigger. For colors, the best effect come from soft tones of off-white, blue and green, and know that brighter rooms look bigger and more inviting.
So don’t despair! Your kitchen is just the right size, whatever size it is. It just means that it could be organized differently and appliances might work better if sized correctly for the room. We can help you with remodeling that space!
