Canada’s Birthday is today!

How much do we really know about our awesome neighbors to the north? For those of us in Bellingham, they are only about 25 miles away, a mere 30 minute drive.

Many Canadians shop and visit here in Whatcom County, including buying vacation homes that then need remodeling from time to time, creating work for Whatcom County residents.

This is a special day for Canadians:

Today is Canada Day: on July 1, 1867 the nation was officially born when the Constitution Act joined three provinces into one country. Canada become completely independent from Britain in 1982.
