Ever wish that window was larger?

Not all home improvements require an addition or other major work. Sometimes we just need a little more light, or to have a room painted, or . . . there are many relatively small projects around the house that the homeowner may not have the time or skills to do themselves, but that make a big difference in the way the house works and feels.

Sometimes it’s just a door that is too narrow, or a window too small. This homeowner requested some siding repair and a larger window. It’s a good idea to hire a professional anytime the envelope of the home is being opened up. You don’t want it done improperly as that could result in a leak in the future.

Here is a home that we enlarged the opening above the garage and installed a larger window. It not only brings in more light, it also looks better! There is a 2nd floor room above the garage, and having more light made a big difference for the room.
