Kitchen cabinets can have a contrasting color in the back! You can do just one if you like, or have all of the cabinet backs painted a contrasting color. Or how about having lights put inside cabinets with glass fronts? Highlight those gorgeous dinnerware and crystal glass sets.

Decorative hardware can really dress up your cabinets. If ergonomic knobs and pulls are your thing (and who doesn’t prefer an easy-to-grasp pull over breaking a nail trying to grasp a cabinet door with wet hands), hardware can still be as intricate or minimalist as you may desire. 

Glass door fronts on some of those kitchen cabinets; they can be frosted or clear, and come with single panes or in mullion patterns.

Illuminate the contents of your cabinets with small lights, light strips, or built in lighting. Lighting options, integrated into cabinetry or shelving, creates a dramatic and warm ambiance for your kitchen.
