How to make a half-bath look and work great
A half bath needs to contain, at a minimum, a toilet, sink, and mirror, and I might add, an exhaust fan. Having an under-sink cabinet or other storage area for extra tissue paper, hand towels and soap is nice, but if space is really tight, these items can be stashed in another location.
A half bath doesn’t need to be large. You will have enough space if you can find a spot in your house that’s about 3 to 4 feet wide and 6 to 8 feet long. If any smaller, it will be uncomfortable for people to access.
Another consideration is where to locate a half bath; a popular place is on a hallway, as it allows guests to enter and leave discreetly.
Choose striking fittings for the half bath to make it stand out, and be more than a utilitarian space.
Use lots of color or even some fun wallpaper to add interest.
Select compact fixtures, such as wall mounted sink, and compact toilet to maximize the space.
