Kitchen islands are where it’s at

These handy work stations are popular for good reasons. They add a great deal of storage capacity to a kitchen, much countertop space, and if a sink is installed in it, the obvious benefits of a second sink.

Oftentimes homeowners will request a countertop overhang for island seating be included. This makes a very nice spot for conversations with the cook with meals are prepared, as well as a nice spot for the cook to sit and review cookbook recipes.
