Pearl Harbor Day remembrance
National Pearl Harbor Remembrance Day is observed annually in United States on December 7, to remember and honor the 2,403 victims who died during the Japanese surprise attack on Pearl Harbor on December 7, 1941.
The USS Arizona is entombed in Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, with a memorial built over it. Visitors can tour the memorial every day of the week; 4,350 tickets are available each day.
The attack on Pearl Harbor caused the United States to enter WWII, on the side of the Allies.
