Smart kitchen remodeling ideas
Color is very important to the whole appearance of your kitchen. If you are drawn to dramatic colors, it would be wise to resist the urge to go all out with that fav color, but to use it as an accent color; staying with a palette of creams, whites, tans and grays will keep your kitchen from looking dated 5 or more years in the future.
The most popular flooring is hardwoods, and they look great with any kitchen. But you can also go with vinyl planks that mimic hardwoods, but are more water resistant.
Shaker style cabinets are a popular cabinet door, and another is a simple, plain door style. They can be dressed up with hardware that suits your style. Solid wood cabinet doors never go out of style, and look great whether painted or stained.
Next, are the countertops; staying with the color scheme of neutral tones is always safe and never gets tiresome. Dramatic color can be added by way of pendant lights or bright towels.
Granite, quartz and marble are high end counterop materials, but if not in your budget or to your taste, laminates or butcher block are less expensive and look great. Modern laminates can mimic any more expensive material.
