Soaking tub or shower?

If you have 3 bathrooms, this question is not a problem  – just pick one of the bathrooms and put a tub in it, pick another and put a nice shower in it.

However, if you have a smaller home, the question becomes more critical. The traditional solution has been to have a tub/shower combination, as this covers all the bases.

Even some relatively small bathrooms have managed to find room for a stand alone tub and a separate shower. If you crave separating the two, have a conference with your contractor to see what he or she can do for you. Experience can make the difference in how to deal with these two bathing options!
