Is it time to update your kitchen cabinets?

Things to consider when it is “that time” for those cabinets to gracefully go.

Number one is, do you like the layout, but want more storage options, such as pull out shelves in the lower cabinets, a good place to store those awkward items such as cookie sheets, muffin tins, and other oddly shaped utensils?

Another thing to consider is, are the current cabinets well made with sturdy construction? If so, you might want to keep them, but have some built-ins added, new doors and hardware, or perhaps having them profesionally refinished.

New countertops can be installed on good quality older cabinets, as well. Add a new tile backsplash and the kitchen will look brand-new!

Don’t forget under-cabinet lights, these add a nice visual touch, as well as provide excellent illumination when working in the kitchen. Some of those corner spaces can be rather dark.
