Turn your backyard into an outdoor room!

Whew! We are having a very dry, warm summer here in Bellingham – instead of being unhappy about the heat (Bellinghamsters are not used to heat – temperatures over 75 for more than a couple of days are traumatic), have your backyard renovated into an outdoor living space.

It can be an outdoor kitchen, complete with a roof and ceiling fan! Add a fireplace, after all, it won’t be 80 degrees all year round. Subtle lighting, outdoor furniture, undercounter drinks refrigerator, a small sink, and you’re just about in heaven.

However, if that is over-the-top for you, how about a nice deck or patio, also with a roof for those unpredictable spring and fall days, and a nice barbecue! Add some landscaping, a privacy fence, oh, and how about that hot tub you’ve always wanted? 

There you go! No need to worry about the temperature, or that pesky rain that we have’t seen much of this summer (you know it will return!)
