Updating a small bathroom

Small bathrooms can be remodeled to be as glamorous as a master bath. With the right tile, colors and fixtures, that small bath can compete with the master bath for desirability.

Here are some photos of a small bath we remodeled recently in the Whatcom County area. There are many details that make it special and improve the appreance by making it seem larger. The glass surround for the shower, including a glass half wall is a great way to keep the shower feeling more open. You can imagine that running a solid wall up would really feel cramped.

The small black tiles in the shower niche are a nice touch, both making a nice contrast in colors as well as making the niche very easy to find, when you eyes might be blurry due to water or soap in the eyes!
